Complete with its custom $5,000 removable convertible top, this '29 roadster combines timeless hot rod proportions with user-friendly fuel-injected performance.

Description

This 1929 Ford Roadster is a classic highboy hot rod powered by an electronically fuel-injected Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine paired with a 2004R four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Built with a lightweight fiberglass body mounted over a custom hot rod chassis, this roadster features a fully removable Rod Tops soft top, a Ford 9-inch rear end, and front disc brakes. Registered as a 1929 Ford, the car brandishes a VIN tag referencing a June 1929 serial number sequence (A1779458). It is now offered with a removable convertible top and a clean title.

The fiberglass body is finished in gloss black paint, styled with open wheel arches, dual headlight buckets, a classic Model A radiator surround, and dual side mirrors. A custom tan-colored removable convertible soft-top assembly from Rod Tops accompanies the car.

The car rides on custom polished alloy hot rod wheels painted in red with chrome "Ford" logo hubcaps and trim rings and fitted in staggered Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.

The cabin features custom upholstery and bench seat trimmed in a tan-colored vinyl, complimented by tan floor covering. Cabin hardware includes polished door handles, lap seatbelts, and a floor-mounted shifter and parking brake.

The interior also features a dashboard face made entirely from polished wood, and accompanies a vintage-style aftermarket steering wheel set ahead of a suite of Autometer gauges.

The engine bay houses an exposed 350ci Chevrolet V8 engine equipped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, an aluminum intake manifold, and chrome dress-up accessories. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator, while exhaust exits through classic open-frame headers flowing into a dual exhaust system. Power is routed through a 2004R four-speed automatic overdrive transmission to a heavy-duty Ford 9-inch rear axle.

The chassis utilizes a custom hot rod frame setup paired with a drop front axle, front disc brakes, and a solid rear axle with a four-link suspension setup with Ride Tech coilovers. is it possible to add that it has EFI.
