There's no better road-trip flex than pulling into a car show behind the wheel of a 440ci big-block wagon that just effortlessly pounded out 1,100 highway miles. Coated in High-Impact Top Banana Yellow on polished Torq Thrusts with ice-cold Vintage Air blowing through the cabin, this Southwestern '63 Belvedere has been transformed from a classic long-roof family hauler into a lethal sleeper cruiser.

Description

This 1963 Plymouth Belvedere station wagon is a Southwestern long-roof cruiser that completed a comprehensive restoration in 2019. Powered by a rebuilt 440ci V8 paired with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission, the wagon features a Mopar Top Banana Yellow refinish, newly installed Vintage Air climate control, and 74,000 actual miles. It is now offered with a clean Arizona title by the selling dealer.

The exterior was refinished in High-Impact Mopar Top Banana Yellow during the 2019 restoration. Body hardware includes replacement chrome bumpers, refreshed chrome moulding, restored glass with functional roll-down side windows, and factory badging. The seller notes that the floor pans and rocker panels remain in original condition.

The vehicle rides on polished 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T road tires measuring 235/60 R15 at all 4 corners.

The cabin retains a full-size wagon layout with bench seating, carpeted floor surfaces, and matching door trim. Interior amenities include a brand-new Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system and operational factory lighting and signals throughout.

The driver operates the car via a factory steering wheel facing a factory instrument cluster, and the push button gear selector is gone in favor of a floor mounted shifter to support the 727 TorqueFlite automatic.

The engine bay houses a rebuilt 440ci big-block V8 engine. Power is sent through a rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission to a Mopar 8 3/4-inch rear differential. The vehicle recently completed an 1,100-mile road trip following full servicing.

The chassis is equipped with power steering to ease maneuverability. Stopping power is handled by a heavy-duty hydraulic 4-wheel drum brake system.
