Set over timeless Cragar SS wheels and Grand Am radials, this first-year Chevelle SS displays a remarkably clean, classic muscle car footprint.

Description

This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS is a performance-oriented hardtop powered by a 350ci V8 engine paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with an MSD electronic ignition system, aluminum intake manifold, and bucket seats, this first-year Chevelle combines classic mid-size muscle car styling with period-style performance upgrades. It is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Oregon title.

The steel body is refinished in red paint, set off by a raised cowl-induction hood and bright chrome trim. Exterior details include chrome front and rear bumpers, Super Sport fender badging, dual side mirrors, dual headlights, and bright rocker panel moldings.

The car rides on Cragar SS alloy wheels wrapped in Grand Am radial tires measuring 205/70 R14 in front and 225/70 R15 in rear.

The cabin features black vinyl bucket seats up front, a matching rear bench seat, black door panels, and black carpeting. Interior details include a black dash face, bright dashboard trim, and lap seatbelts.

The chassis utilizes a perimeter frame with an independent front suspension with coil springs and a solid rear axle with trailing arms. Stopping power is provided by a hydraulic brake system at all four corners, supported by a dual-circuit master cylinder.
