Thanks to a Crown Vic front clip swap with power rack-and-pinion steering and a flipped rear end, this '75 Dentside short-bed gives you a street-truck stance without sacrificing modern road manners. The 302 fitted with a 4 barrel carb and a nice exhaust kit will turn heads when you're cruising in this classic Ford. This is a great truck to drive as-is and it's also got good bones and sheet metal to take this to show-build level.

Description

This 1975 Ford F-100 is an original short-bed pickup that has been customized with a lower stance, chassis updates, and a V8 engine swap. Featuring a late-model Ford front suspension clip with rack-and-pinion steering, the truck pairs classic Ford truck bodywork with modern stance and handling upgrades. Included with the sale is a new chrome rear bumper from LMC Truck. It is now offered with a clean California title.

The exterior is finished on an original short-bed body featuring brand-new LED headlights and a new chrome front bumper. A matching new rear bumper is included with the sale but not currently installed. Some blemishes and minor rust is noted on the hood.

The truck sits on 20-inch Ridler alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires with approximately 80 percent tread remaining. The stance is lowered via a Crown Victoria/LTD front suspension conversion and a flipped rear leaf spring setup.

The cabin features a black vinyl and cloth bench seat layout paired with matching interior door panels and dash trim. Amenities include a vintage-style, functional two-knob JVC stereo head unit. The driver operates the truck via a custom steering wheel mounted to the factory steering column, facing the stock instrument cluster. An aftermarket tachometer is attached to the steering column. Some cracks in the dashboard are noted underneath the dash pad.

The engine bay houses a swapped 302ci (5.0L) V8 engine fitted with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Cooling is upgraded by an aluminum radiator with a traditional engine driven fan. Exhaust is routed through a newly installed Mustang Rumble exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a C4 three-speed automatic transmission enhanced with a B&M shift kit.

The chassis benefits from a Crown Victoria/LTD front clip conversion incorporating power rack-and-pinion steering and an independent front suspension layout. Stopping power is provided by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.

This ’75 Dentside short-bed Custom has the classic look of an old-school Ford with some upgrades that make it a lot more enjoyable on the street. It’s been converted with a Crown Victoria/LTD front clip, independent front suspension, and a flipped rear setup to give it that aggressive street-truck stance.
Under the hood is a 302ci (5.0L) Ford V8 backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission with a B&M shift kit. The 302 is equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, upgraded aluminum radiator, and a new Mustang Rumble exhaust system that gives it a great sound.
The truck also has power front disc and rear drum brakes, along with 20-inch Ridler alloy wheels. It still has the original short-bed body, complemented by new LED headlights and a chrome front bumper.
Inside, it keeps things simple with the original-style bench seat interior.
The power rack-and-pinion steering is installed but currently not connected, so that will need to be addressed by the next owner.
Overall, this is a solid classic Ford with good bones and plenty of potential. You can enjoy it as-is, continue improving the current setup, or take it to the next level with something like a Coyote swap and build it into a serious show-quality street truck.
