Original California metal wrapped in factory white paint with wire wheel covers gives this survivor unmatched boulevard swagger, while fresh brake components and cold A/C make it completely turn-key for smooth, whisper-quiet cruising.

Description

This 1984 Cadillac Eldorado base coupe was sold new in California and features original paint, a rust-free body, and recent mechanical maintenance including an air conditioning and brake service. It is now offered wearing classic Pennsylvania license plates with a clean Pennsylvania title, maintenance receipts, CARFAX, and the original owner's manual.

The exterior retains its factory original white paint finish with light patina and minor chips consistent with age. Exterior trim includes original chrome bumpers, brightwork moldings, badges, dual side mirrors, and a replacement windshield wiper system installed within the past two years.

The vehicle stands on 15-inch wheels fitted with 40-year-old factory wire wheel covers and wrapped in approximately 2-year-old radial tires.

The cabin features a factory cloth and vinyl interior with power-adjustable front seats and matching door panels. The seller notes the headliner is in excellent shape. Amenities include an updated air conditioning system, factory power accessories, climate control hardware, and an AM/FM stereo head unit.

The driver operates the luxury coupe via a two-spoke factory steering wheel set ahead of the stock instrument cluster, which displays digital engine telemetry and primary operational gauges. The odometer shows just over 14,300 miles, but the CARFAX indicates it has rolled over once resulting in an average of only about 2,700 miles driven per year. Column-mounted controls handle transmission gear selection. The seller states that the windshield wiper system is new.

The engine bay houses a 4.1-liter HT4100 V8 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, which sends power through the factory front-wheel drive system. Mechanical updates within the last two years include a new battery installed in March 2026, a replacement brake master cylinder, a serviced cooling system, and a recently inspected exhaust and muffler system.

The independent air-leveling suspension system provides a factory ride height profile. According to the seller, the four-wheel power disc brake system was recently inspected and received replacement components as well as a fresh master cylinder.

I see the dashboard has a cover on that. Is the dashboard cracked up underneath that or is it in good shape

Yes it does have a crack and the carpet was made from the previous owner. Looks perfect and with the abundance of sun in California , it beats your car up.

I missed seeing the CarFax report where it seems to be showing higher mileage than advertised in the write up. Is that not false advertising with website collaboration???

I purchased the car from a dealer with only knowledge of miles showing. Since then I found the Carfax stating additional miles of which I posted. So I alleviated false advertising. It has 114k over 42 years.

With the Carfax showing a difference in mileage, I questioned the former owner in Calif. and he had no recollection of a rollover- I have my PA title showing 13,106 and Classic plates for that mileage.

While the odometer may show 114k, that is an average of 2.7k/year. There are no engine, brakes, tires, and electronics that are impaired.

I have not experienced any engine problems. As you are aware the 4100 engine has some torque issues due to the weight of the car and with a 250 CDI. It has enough get up and go for me- I’m not in a hurray!!

A couple of questions for the seller.
It references the AC system being serviced or new, does it operate functionally as it’s supposed to?
Are there any items on the car which do not work as they should have come from the factory?

The AC works with no issues. Just set the climate temp and forget it. There are no issues with any other items- works as they should.
