This appropriately named "Black Widow" build brings a high-end Pro Street execution to the classic '55 Chevy silhouette, combining an aggressive tubbed stance with top-tier chassis hardware. Pro Street Customs is known for doing unique, high quality builds, and they put the icing on the cake with a 496ci Big Block Chevrolet V8 and a Richmond six-speed manual transmission. There's just so much to look at here, overall a very trick build that's sure to bring out all the Tri-Five fanatics into the comments.
Description
This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom Sedan, known as the "Black Widow" build, was constructed by Pro Street Customs of Orlando, Florida. Built on a full Art Morrison chassis, the car incorporates a high-displacement big-block V8, an upgraded six-speed manual gearbox, custom body modifications, and a modernized interior layout. It is now offered by the dealer with build photos, receipts, and documentation along with a clean Illinois title.
The all-steel body is finished in Jet Black paint. Body alterations include shaved exterior trim, smoothed body lines, and tubbed rear wheel arches to house wider rear tires. The exterior retains its factory grille and headlight layout, set against the dark bodywork.
The vehicle rides on 15 inch American Racing "daisy" wheels in an wide Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tire setup measuring 225/70R15 in the front and 295/50R15 in the rear.
The cabin features a custom red and black leather interior layout featuring front bucket seats detailed with embroidered Black Widow logos. Upgrades include a custom center console with custom engraving, billet trim accents, power windows, a power driver's seat, keyless entry, and a Vintage Air climate control system. Audio hardware includes an Eclipse head unit paired with Kicker amplifiers and subwoofers.
The driver operates the vehicle via a unique one-off steering wheel facing a dash set with Auto Meter auxiliary instrumentation. Gear changes are managed via a floor-mounted shifter.
The engine bay houses a 496ci big block Chevrolet V8 topped with black body color matched valve covers and a polished K&N air filter. Fuel delivery is handled via a Holley system, with exhaust routed through ceramic-coated headers leading into a stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust setup. Cooling is supplied by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Power is sent through a Richmond six-speed manual transmission to a narrowed 9-inch rear axle equipped with 31-spline Strange axles and 3.55:1 posi-traction differential gearing.
The vehicle is built on a full Art Morrison chassis featuring an independent front suspension, a four-link rear suspension setup with a Panhard bar, coilover shocks, and rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping power is supplied by a Wilwood four-wheel power disc brake system.

This is one badass 55 Chevy! Not only does it have the look everyone wants, but has the power to back it up. We just had the car professionally buffed out and ceramic coated so not even dust sticks to this ride!
