Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe is a documented nut-and-bolt restored first-generation pony car. Powered by a rebuilt 289ci V8 with a four-barrel carburetor linked to a three-speed manual transmission, this factory-style build features under-dash air conditioning, refreshed interior appointments, and classic period trim. Offered by the selling dealer with restoration photographs and build receipts, it carries a clean Maryland title.
The body was completely disassembled and refinished in Navy Blue. Exterior equipment includes bright chrome front and rear bumpers, polished window trim, quarter-panel hockey-stick chrome accents, and Mustang fender badging.
The car rides on 14-inch steel wheels fitted with factory-style wheel covers and thin-whitewall radial tires measuring 195/75 R14 at all four corners.
The cabin features blue vinyl bucket seats, matching door panels, fresh carpeting, and replacement interior trim throughout. Interior amenities include factory-style under-dash air conditioning alongside a classic AM radio set into the dash fascia.
The interior also features a color-matched steering wheel positioned ahead of factory instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, an odometer showing 51,621 miles, and gauges for fuel level, engine temperature, and oil pressure. A manual floor shifter manages the three-speed gearbox. And the refurbishment continues to the rear where the detailed trunk compartment is lined with a classic tartan mat.
The show-quality engine bay houses a rebuilt 289ci Ford V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and factory-style air cleaner assembly. Exhaust flows through a stainless-steel dual exhaust system with a traditional V8 note. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a solid rear axle.
The chassis retains factory independent front coil spring suspension and semi-elliptical rear leaf springs. Stopping power is managed by a four-wheel hydraulic drum brake system.

Thank you for viewing my auction. This is a really nice 65 Mustang. It was restored some years back and we have photos and doucments as to the work done. We have gone through the car, completed an oil service and rebuilt the carb. The car runs and drives nicely and the AC blows cold! Good luck and I look forward to any questions you may have!
