This stunning red '67 Buick Riviera is a phenomenal luxury-muscle hybrid that represents an elite slice of GM history. As one of just 4,837 factory Gran Sport (GS) models produced that year, it boasts a ferocious, built 430ci Wildcat V8 pushed to a reported 485 horsepower thanks to MSD electronic fuel injection and Edelbrock top-end parts. The execution is masterful, matching its legendary "barrel" speedometer and electric hidden headlights with modern 18-inch wheels, heavy-duty GS sport suspension, and a performance-shifted Turbo 400 gearbox.
Description
This 1967 Buick Riviera is an upgraded example of the brand's second-generation luxury coupe equipped with the factory GS (Gran Sport) performance and handling package. Out of more than 42,000 Rivieras produced for the model year, this vehicle represents one of 4,837 units specified with the GS option. Restored approximately 6 years ago, the powertrain has been modified under previous ownership to increase output from the factory-rated 360 horsepower to a reported 485 horsepower. The car features modern fuel injection, a revised top end, and updated 18-inch wheels while retaining its model-specific cosmetic elements. It is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Washington title.
Featuring a repaint in factory correct red, the exterior maintains the standard second-generation Riviera styling, highlighted by a "W" shaped front-end profile, a rear fastback roofline, and distinctive "Riviera GS" badging on the decklid and front fenders. The signature hidden headlights are operated by electric motors, a feature specific to the 1967 model year.
The factory wheel configuration has been replaced with a set of 18-inch Accio wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires, giving the vehicle a modernized stance while improving road grip.
The engine bay houses Buick's 430ci Wildcat V8 engine, which has been enhanced with Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and an MSD electronic fuel injection system. Exhaust gases flow through aftermarket headers connected to a 2.5-inch dual exhaust system utilizing Flowmaster mufflers. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic transmission that has been modified with a performance shift kit, which spins a Positraction limited-slip differential with 3.70 gears.
The chassis came equipped from the factory with the heavy-duty GS sport suspension package, which features revised spring rates and firmer dampening compared to the standard Riviera. Braking performance has been maintained alongside the upgraded powertrain, and the power steering system uses factory dimensions. The undercarriage displays the custom dual exhaust routing and standard independent front suspension structures.
The cabin features factory-style luxury appointments, including black vinyl bucket seats, a center console with a column-mounted shifter, and standard manual controls for the windows and ventilation. The dashboard houses the model-year-specific "drum" or "barrel" style speedometer, which utilizes a rotating cylinder to indicate vehicle speed. The upholstery, door cards, and carpeting are complemented by unique Riviera script accents on the interior panels.

@ZachRestomods Thanks Zach for the information - @Kentego78 Randy358ASA as far as shipping costs go I can arrange shipping and I get very good deals and in regards to the car puchase the shipping is a very small cost you can easily get a quote yourself online to understand what ballpark its in and I will be able to do better
@Randy358ASA no such thing as a 10 in my opinion.. However this car will easily win at any car show and the paint is excellent 9.5
Rate the paint 1-10. Some areas look questionable (trunk for one).
@ steve3969 I do see a second stalk on the left side of the wheel so I am betting that is for the tilt, no power seat
How long after the winning bid fors the car have to be picked up? Is shipping available
@ARAY2Buy I am not going to be able to get to the car which is an hour each way from where I am in time to take undercarriage photos, Its super clean and there is no rust and I would guarantee it to the buyer and take photos to show the buyer before any payment received or car is shipped -
@charlesThompson01 yes motor and transmission as well as suspension have all been rebuilt about 6,500 miles ago and there is 104,260 Total miles on the Chassis - did not spell out rebuild because we cannot find Any of the paperwork on the car in the literal "Barn" where the car is stoed as the owner passed away and we are selling for the Widow (who happens to be part of our social circle of car folks)
Can we get a video or pictures of the underneath?, Has the engine or transmissionbeen rebuilt?? And does the air-conditioning work?

@larry241 yes - you can see the compressor there on the passenger side of the engine next to the alternator (the long black cylinder with the belt on the pulley )
