Description
This custom 1968 Ford Ranchero is a tubbed street/strip muscle truck completed approximately one year ago by the seller. Powered by a 460ci V8 equipped with Aces Killshot electronic fuel injection and a plumbed nitrous system, the vehicle features a pro-street rear back-half setup, wide Mickey Thompson drag rubber, and a narrowed 9-inch rear end. Offered with a box of build documentation and a clean Wisconsin title.
The exterior features a custom full-body wrap applied over factory bodywork. Exterior details include a utility pickup bed housing the rear wheel tubs and fuel cell hardware and electric exhaust cutouts for open-header output.
The car rides on 15-inch Weld wheels wrapped in like-new Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires measuring 26x7.50x15 up front and massive 31x18.50x15 drag radials out back.
The cabin features front bucket seats, a center console, and a multi-point roll bar setup. Safety and drag racing equipment includes a front brake line lock control, an aftermarket switch panel, and 4-point harnesses.
The driver operates the Ranchero via a Grant GT steering wheel and B&M Pro Ratchet shifter managing gear selection. Dashboard instrumentation has been updated with Aces fuel cell sending, control, and monitoring units, as well as a fuel gauge.
The engine bay houses a largely stock, big-block 460ci Ford V8 retrofitted with an Aces Killshot electronic fuel injection system, an electric fuel pump, and an integrated nitrous oxide setup (currently unfilled). Exhaust flows through headers and electric cutouts into a side-exit dual exhaust system. Power is routed through a heavy-duty C4 automatic transmission to a narrowed 9-inch rear axle equipped with 4.11:1 differential gears.
The back-halved chassis utilizes tubbed rear wheel wells to accommodate the oversized drag tires. Stopping power is managed by front and rear disc brakes paired with a line lock solenoid setup.
