Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro restomod is finished in Matador Red with a new black vinyl roof and shows 1,165 post-refurbishment miles. Powered by a 5.7-liter LS2 V8 rated at an estimated 400 horsepower and paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission with a custom billet shifter, this Chevrolet features a 12-bolt positraction rear differential, Wilwood power disc brakes, Hotchkis Sport suspension, Vintage Air, and a stainless header-back dual exhaust. The two-door hardtop is offered on a clean Minnesota title.
Chrome and stainless trim surrounds the Matador Red body, which has been professionally waxed and detailed, and a new black vinyl roof tops the two-door hardtop. The trunk compartment is detailed and has a custom mat.
The car rides on polished Cragar wheels fitted with BFGoodrich white-letter high-speed radial tires.
Everything from carpet to door panels to headliner is new in the black deluxe interior, which has bucket seats and a full factory console with console gauges. Vintage Air provides air conditioning and modern heat.
An 8,000-rpm tachometer and a 160 mph speedometer lead the upgraded analog and digital gauge set, which also reports oil, temperature, and voltage. A billet sport steering wheel with tilt is installed, the Tremec six-speed has a custom billet shifter, and an AM/FM stereo with Pioneer speakers supplies audio. The odometer shows 1,165 miles (true mileage is unknown).
