Max Wedge headers, a Holley carburetor, and a modified hood with a scoop make this Satellite's intentions clear before the key even turns. The lightly modified 426 Wedge leans on a light camshaft and breathes out through dual chrome tips, while the TorqueFlite with its manual-shift valve body and Hurst Pro-Matic 2 shifter lets the driver call the shots on every gear. Staggered white raised letter BFGoodrich Radial T/As on chrome wheels, under-dash gauges for water temperature and oil pressure, and a fresh frame-on restoration round out a Super Commando that's ready to rumble!

Description

This first-generation 1965 Plymouth Satellite Super Commando 426 two-door hardtop coupe wears a blue finish following a frame-on restoration completed last year. Powered by a 426 Wedge V8 with light modifications and paired with a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission with a manual-shift valve body, this Satellite features a Holley carburetor, Max Wedge headers, a light camshaft, a modified hood with a hood scoop, front disc brakes, new shocks, and dual chrome exhaust tips. The car is offered with a clean Indiana title and the owner's manual.

Straight panels carry a blue finish that shows few imperfections, and all of the chrome on the car is reported to be in excellent condition. The hood has been modified with a hood scoop, and all of the rubber around the doors and trunk is new.

The car rides on a newer set of 15-inch chrome wheels wrapped in white raised letter BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in staggered widths.

Two-tone blue and white vinyl wraps the front bucket seats, with a matching rear bench and matching door panels. A padded dash sits up front, a trunk mat lines the cargo area, and the factory AM/FM radio remains, although it is not known if it is operable.

Under-dash auxiliary gauges report water temperature and oil pressure, and a Hurst Pro-Matic 2 ratchet shifter handles gear selection. Per the seller, aftermarket temperature gauge does not work, but the in-dash factory gauge does. The car does not have air conditioning.

A 426 Wedge V8 is fitted with a Holley carburetor, Max Wedge headers, and a light camshaft and paired with a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic with a manual-shift valve body. Per the seller, a transmission cooler is affixed to the radiator and newer belts and wires have been installed.

Underneath, the car is equipped with front disc rear drum brakes, new shocks, and a torsion bar suspension with rear leaf springs. Dual chrome exhaust tips finish the exhaust system.
