Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute restomod coupe is a professional, high-end build centered around a fuel-injected 540ci big-block V8 and a six-speed manual transmission. Constructed from a solid, factory V8 chassis, the car was transformed into an SS tribute using premium components throughout and shows approximately 4,400 miles since completion. A comprehensive engine refresh in 2025 included the installation of new lifters, pushrods, gaskets, spark plugs, a new heater core, and an updated alternator. The vehicle is registered and stored in Massachusetts with a clean Massachusetts title.
The exterior has been refinished in Daytona Yellow accented by black sport stripes, all protected by a professional ceramic coating application completed in April 2024. The body features an array of modern cosmetic upgrades, including Ringbrothers headlights, LED parking lights and taillights, combined fog/directional lights, and a matching front spoiler and rear lip spoiler. All of the glass has been replaced with modern tinted panes, and new chrome trim, weatherstripping, and SS badging were installed during the build.
The vehicle rides on polished Centerline Telstar 17 inch wheels wrapped in staggered Nitto NT555 high-performance radial tires. Subtle exterior details include custom-fabricated door handles, matching billet aluminum fender braces, and billet aluminum gas-strut hinges supporting both the cowl-induction hood and the trunk lid.
The clean trunk compartment houses an Optima battery, a master power kill switch, and the specialized tank for the engine's cryogenic intake system.
The customized cabin features newly installed ProCar front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with classic houndstooth cloth inserts. A custom-molded headliner was integrated to maximize headroom, and the rear bench seat has been upholstered to match the front layout. Fresh carpeting covers the floors, and a custom full-length center console provides modern convenience with integrated cup holders and a storage compartment.
Driver controls are centered around a new tilt steering column holding an aftermarket steering wheel, flanked by a custom billet aluminum shifter and matching billet floor pedals. The body-colored dashboard houses a complete set of Dakota Digital gauges to monitor all vital vehicle systems. Entertainment is provided by a modern Sony AM/FM head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, and the interior climate controls have been thoroughly refreshed.
The engine bay houses a Dart-sourced big-block V8 displacing 540ci (8.8 liters) that has been dyno-tested at 544 horsepower. The engine is equipped with Dart cylinder heads, Holley electronic fuel injection, an MSD ignition system, custom Moroso valve covers, and a DEI CryO2 cryogenic intake and CO2 fuel chiller system. The engine and accessories sport a polished and purple theme throughout. Spent gases travel through Lemons headers into a Magnaflow dual exhaust system with a performance X-pipe. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a Keisler T-56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission.
The chassis has been completely overhauled with a full Hotchkis suspension package featuring upper and lower tubular control arms, front and rear sway bars, a rear shock tower brace, welded-in subframe connectors, custom traction bars, and adjustable coilover shocks. Braking performance is handled by a power-assisted Wilwood system incorporating four-piston calipers over drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.

Isee in the bottom of the body the crack in the body what is up with that ? Is that a problem?
If i get the car i have it set up with my credit union so it wouldn't be a card. It would be a cashier's check for the car if I win the bid. Do you take that?
I see there is some chips in the rocker paint. Just worried about it coming from Massachusetts for any rust issues.
