The build keeps everything tame and not over the top with a 350 small block with an aluminum intake and MSD ignition, while the automatic transmission makes it a total breeze to cruise down the coast. Popping the T-tops off, leaning back into the buckets, and letting that classic V8 rumble roll out the back makes this split-window conversion an absolute showstopper at any gathering.
Description
This custom 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe is a one-of-a-kind Stingray featuring a handcrafted 1963-style split window rear glass conversion. Powered by a small-block 350ci V8 engine paired with a TH400 automatic transmission, this C3 coupe combines iconic C2 body cues with T-top versatility, power four-wheel disc brakes, and power steering. It is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Oregon title.
The exterior bodywork blends C3 coke-bottle fender lines with a custom re-engineered C2 rear deck section that integrates the split back glass layout inspired by the 1963 Corvette coupe. Additional exterior highlights include removable T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, chrome front and rear bumperettes, and side fender vents.
The car rides on Chevrolet Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps, wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A performance tires.
The cabin features vinyl bucket seats divided by a center console housing transmission and climate controls. Interior amenities include floor carpeting, matching door panels, and a factory steering wheel set ahead of factory instrumentation. The odometer shows just 79,389 miles.
The interior also features a center-dash gauge suite displaying secondary engine metrics. A floor-mounted shifter operates the automatic transmission.
The engine bay houses a small-block 350ci V8 retrofitted with an aluminum intake manifold, an MSD electronic ignition system, and a performance air cleaner assembly. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 automatic transmission and factory independent rear suspension.
The chassis retains factory power-assisted steering and stopping power is managed by a power-assisted four-wheel disc brake system.
