Wrench Report
RestoMods Head Mechanic. 20 year classic car mechanic & builder.
A tastefully restored 1969 Firebird convertible that received a frame-off treatment in 2019. This is a timeless color combo in red paint with white interior and the fit and finish of it all looks very well executed. You get some nice creature comforts here with power front disc brakes, power steering, and functioning climate control. I really appreciate that the owner secured photos of the build process and added them to the gallery, which gives bidders a chance to see what went into getting this thing back on the road.

Didn't see all the cocktail shackers in rebuilt pics, and think I saw one in trunk on pics, are all four, front and back installed? Also, in the pics it looks like several spots in the paint chipped, and shown as white chips in various areas of hood and fenders, also, on bottom of fenders in pics paint looks very rough, or is that just dirty or grass? Just hard to tell in pics. Thx
Is the car reliable enough to make it to the coast? Explain climate control. Does that mean Airconditioning where freon is used to cool the air as in modern cars?
Confusion on the engine... Air cleaner says 400-4, Hood says 350, rear spoiler says 400, description says 350 HO...What is it?

Also, can u tell me if during the rebuild there was a lot of rust issues, and what the original colors for the interior and exterior were and so u know what the original engine was 350, 350 HO or 400? Thx.. if a 350 HO I'm assuming the 400 hood and tach were additions during the rebuild?
