Wrench Report
RestoMods Head Mechanic. 20 year classic car mechanic & builder.
Two four-barrels staring up from an Edelbrock intake tell you right away that this Pro Street '56 Chevy 210 isn't here to whisper, and the roller cam, 10.5:1 compression, worked heads, and MSD ignition on the 454/468 big block back it up with 550 horsepower! Shifting through the Muncie four-speed with its hydraulic clutch sends power through an aluminum driveshaft to a 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears and a Yukon nodular iron third member, while Jet-Hot coated headers and a 3-inch stainless exhaust exit through custom rear quarter panel outlets. CPP tubular control arms, polyurethane bushings, a Wilwood reverse-mount pedal assembly, and four-wheel disc brakes keep the stance under control on Centerline staggered wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson rubber!

Kindig It Design door handles and Billet Specialties aluminum hood hinges accent the body, which is painted in two-tone silver blue metallic and white. All-new PMK Diamond glass is installed, and a sedan vent delete kit has removed the vent windows.

The car rides on staggered Centerline wheels, with Mickey Thompson 25x8.00R15 tires in front and 315/60R18 tires in the rear.

Black upholstery fills the custom interior, which has a Dynamat-treated floor. The heater and wipers have been deleted, and some additional interior work is recommended to take the car further.

The dash carries Stewart Warner gauges and a 2-inch Stewart Warner clock. A Wilwood reverse-mount pedal assembly provides the pedals, and a floor-mounted hand brake is installed.
