Description
A complete frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration produced this 1957 Chevrolet 3124 Cameo Carrier Restomod. Powered by a crate 350ci V8 with FiTech electronic fuel injection and paired with a TH400 automatic transmission, this Chevrolet features a Jaguar independent rear suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, Vintage Air conditioning, power windows, and a custom 1955 Chevrolet passenger-car dash. Additional features include rare Cameo fiberglass bedsides and a finished wood bed, and it is offered with a clean Oregon title.
Cameo fiberglass bedsides frame a finished wood bed, and the fuel tank has been relocated beneath the rear of the bed.
The truck rides on Falken tires over 18-inch Ridler 661 wheels.
Comfort in the cab comes in the form of a tan leather bench with pull-down armrest and cupholder, matching door panels and headliner, Vintage Air air conditioning, and power windows.
A 1955 Chevrolet passenger-car dash, custom integrated into the cab for a factory-style appearance, sits ahead of a tilt steering column, and a RetroSound radio with Bluetooth supplies audio.
FiTech electronic fuel injection feeds the crate 350ci V8, which drives a serpentine belt system and exhausts through headers into a dual exhaust. A shaved and smoothed firewall sits behind the engine, an aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan provides the cooling, and a TH400 automatic transmission sends power rearward.
Underneath, a Jaguar independent rear suspension is fitted, and four-wheel power disc brakes provide the braking.
